Vestiges from Washington DC start us off with "VII", an instrumental track creating a thick hazy atmosphere before leading into the following 13 minute epic blackened crust ballad, "VIII".

Panopticon from Kentucky introduce an even more melodic side than before with the opening track "A Letter". The melody eventually fades into a slew of blast beats and atmospheric ambiance. Continuing in the same vain, "The Eulogy" begins with a distant riff building on a soft melodic progression into an epic collaboration of beautiful noise. The final track of the split, "Collapse & Die", is a Suicide Nation cover. Suicide Nation were an Arizona band with a very unique sound.. a mix of metal/hardcore and black metal. Panopticon flawlessly cover this track, a better version than the original but that's just my opinion.

New Mammoth Grinder LP "Underworlds" due July 27th Stream a Track Now

Mammoth Grinder are Austin's own masters of brutality and they're in the works for a new LP entitled "Underworlds"  rumored to be released by the end of July on 20 Buck Spin. Stemming from bands like Insect Warfare and Hatred Surge, Mammoth Grinder deliver a heavy mix of deathmetal meets crossover meets grindcore meets raw dbeat fury. Mutual Assured Destruction - 2013 North East Crusade CD-R [NY Warcrust]

Since 2003 Mutual Assured Destruction have played an active part in the New York punk scene and anarchist community. Throughout the years their sound has grown increasingly heavy and unique. They've recorded multiple albums, splits and comps under various labels such as Warcrust, Profane Existence and Contagium.  MAD are currently on tour with No More Victims and they just released a new CD entitled "2013 North East Crusade". The album consists of six tracks, five of which are re-recorded from the 2012 4-way split with No More Victims, Nerve Gas Attak and Exshitstence "Stoner Punx Against Christ". The new album opens up with "Massive Alcoholic Devestation", one of the best MAD acronyms to date, and is concluded by a new track entitled "Keep The Faith". Dutchguts - Losing Sleep [NJ Stoner Sludge Crust]

Residing in the pits of Jersey, Dutchguts released their third album "Losing Sleep" in October of 2012. The album delivers a combination of fast Dbeat and painstakingly slow drumming paired with sludgy guitar riffs and great bass undertones. Having grown up with Dan (ex Septic Shock, Deformities of Society) and listened to his music evolve, we were excited to hear new material.  Dutchguts have become local pioneers in the Montclair punk/hardcore scene, perpetuating the underground by playing and booking some amazing shows at DIY venues such as The Meatlocker. Protestant - Reclamation [Dark Hardcore Punk]

September of 2012 Protestant delivered their fourth LP "Reclamation". Protestant is one of Milwaukee's finest, going strong since 2004. "Reclamation" consists of five anthems starting with ear splitting feedback transitioning into a unique, melodic-style guitar accompanied by heavy punk influenced Dbeat drums. Protestant never cease to deliver, they have released multiple EP's prior to "Reclamation" such as "Antagonist" and "Stalemate" and they continue to play shows. Only time will tell what the next chapter of Protestant will be. We'll be staying tuned and crossing our fingers for a new full length.
